Made of high-quality tempered glass, the scales are extremely resistant to any type of damage.
New Zelmer scales – double reason to be proud of your scales and ...your weight! How to check whether your weight is correct? It's simple – just use the BMI (Body Mass Index) which indicates what your weight should be for your height. To calculate it you need to divide your body weight (kg) by the square of your height (m) and then compare it with the following values:
Standards for women [kg]:below 19 – underweight
19-23,9 – normal weight
24-29,9 – overweight
30-34,9 – first degree obesity
35-39,9 – second degree obesity
above 40 – third degree obesity
Standards for men [kg]:below 20 – underweight
20-24,9 – normal weight
25-29,9 – overweight
30-34,9 – first degree obesity
35-39,9 – second degree obesity
above 40 – third degree obesity
You can also use the following method:
for women:(height [cm] – 100) – 10% = correct weight
for men:(height [cm] – 100) – 5% = correct weight
Results within the range 110 – 120% of the standard indicate overweight, whereas the result above 120% denotes obesity.
It must be noted that the above methods should not be used in the case of children, pregnant women, athletes and people with a muscular build.
